Most of our PTFE components are fabricated by compression molding then CNC machining to meet precision dimension requirements, smooth surface, no burrs along with Fluoropolymer characteristics like chemical inertness, temperature resistance, low coefficient of friction.
Complex PTFE components composite with metal parts also can be customize according to drawing or samples.
Material: Virgin & all filled grades PTFE
Filler: Glass Fiber/Carbon/Bronze/Graphite/MoS2 to improve the wear resistance and other mechanical properties.
Processing: CNC turning, CNC milling, CNC routing.
Size: Any sizes of components can be precision fabricated exactly according to your requirements.
Main fillers' properties please refer to below table:
|Inorganic filler||Glass fiber||Unchanged chemical and electrical characteristics, improve mechanical and wear resistance, but the coefficient of friction is slightly increased, for this reason, need to note the proportion of compounds.|
|Graphite||Improved thermal conductivity, reduce initial friction and provide general strengthening characteristics, used in compounds for chemical and mechanical service.|
|Bronze||Increased hardness, best wear resistance, higher compressive modulus and thermal conductivity. But poor electrical characteristics and chemical resistance for itself metallicity.|
|Carbon fiber||Lower creep, increase flex and compressive modulus, coefficient of thermal expansion is lowered and thermal conductivity is higher.|
|MoS2||Normally used in small proportions and combined with other fillers like glass and bronze, increase the hardness while decreasing friction. Inert to most chemicals.|
|Organic filler||Polyimide||Decreased friction and high wear resistance, when touches with copper ally and other soft metals, effects actively.|
|Increased compressive, flexural and mechanical properties. Also improved wear characteristics. Not damage other materials basically.|
|Polyphenylene Sulfide||Improved creep resistance and dimensional stability.|
